Dr. Mariano completed his medical residency at Santo Tomas Medical School Hospital in the Philippines.
He moved to the United States in 1959 and completed a Rotating Internship at St. Mary’s Hospital in
Minneapolis. Dr. Mariano then came to Pittsburgh to complete his residency in radiology at St. Francis
General Hospital, and moved on to the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology for his fellowship in vascular
and interventional radiology.
In addition to working as a reading radiologist for Med Health Services, Dr. Mariano has been on staff at
the Mercy Jeannette Hospital’s Department of Medical Imaging for more than thirty years now. He has also
held privileges at the Western Pennsylvania Hospital, and worked in private practice as well.
